Der Begriff der Bildungslandschaft verweist auf neue lokale, regionale und kommunale Aktivitten, die im Kontext gesellschaftlicher Notwendigkeiten zunehmend an Bedeutung gewinnen. Die Relevanz dieser Aktivitten lsst sich auf drei Ebenen nachzeichnen: Zunchst geht es um ein bildungspolitisches Setting, das mit seiner Zuschreibung von mehr kommunaler Verantwortung Betreuungs-, Erziehungs- und Bildungsangebote im weitesten Sinn vernetzt. Damit verndert sich auch der Gestaltungsraum und der Verantwortungsbereich zwischen den beteiligten Akteuren. Aus bildungstheoretischer Perspektive werden unter dem Begriff der Bildungslandschaft verschiedenste Lernformen und -settings, die ber die bislang vorherrschende Zentrierung auf Schule hinausgehen, neu integriert. Auf der dritten Ebene lassen sich organisatorische Strukturen und konzeptionelle Betrachtungsweisen anfhren. Hier haben inzwischen zahlreiche Modellprojekte die innovative Idee der Bildungslandschaft mit sozialpolitischen Aspekten verknpft. Die internationale Perspektive auf Bildungslandschaft erffnet zudem einen Einblick auf die in Italien, Brasilien, Dnemark, Polen und den Niederlanden gewonnenen Erfahrungswerte.
