Auf sein Hauptwerk Der moderne Kapitalismus aus dem Jahr 1902 geht die Einteilung des Kapitalismus-Begriffs in die Entwicklungsphasen Frh-, Hoch- und Sptkapitalismus zurck. Der Herausgeber Prof. Dr. Klaus Lichtblau lehrte bis Frhjahr 2017 Soziologie am Fachbereich Gesellschaftswissenschaften der Goethe-Universitt Frankfurt.
