Der Partizipationsgedanke gehrt von jeher zu den zentralen Themen pdagogischer Arbeit. Von einer ausgeprgten Partizipationskultur in der Ganztagsschule kann allerdings kaum gesprochen werden. Vor diesem Hintergrund wird das Modell der demokratischen Partizipation um das Modell der pdagogischen Partizipation erweitert und auf die besonderen Bedingungen von Bewegungs-, Spiel- und Sportangeboten in offenen Ganztagsgrundschulen bezogen. In einer qualitativen Untersuchung konnten spezifische Rahmenbedingungen und konkrete Orte der Partizipationsfrderung identifiziert werden. Die empirischen Ergebnisse beschreiben ein breites, situationsbezogenes Spektrum der Partizipationsfrderung zwischen Fremd-, Mit- und Selbstbestimmung.
