This knife features apolypropylene handle with a checkered pattern and is easily sharpened and holds its edge well. The handle is safe, high impact, slip resistant and is antimicrobial and micro-organism safe. The knife is and low temperature resistant and safe to use in the freezer. Normal cleaning, hand wash in warm soapy water with a nonabrasive sponge or cloth. We highly recommend hand washing your knives in non-lemon detergents.
