Zudem knnen Kunden die Qualitt vorangekndigter Gter aufgrund deren Nichtverfg barkeil hufig nur schwer beurteilen. Unternehmen knnen durch den Einsatz von Signalen die Glaubwrdigkeit von Produkt-Vorankndigungen erhhen. Es ist empirisch gezeigt wor den, da die Glaubwrdigkeit von Produkt-Vorankndigungen das Warten von Kunden auf ein vorangekndigtes Produkt beeinflut. Somit knnen Signale darber entscheiden, ob das ankndigende Unternehmen ein bedeutsames strategisches Ziel einer Produkt-Voran kndigung, nmlich das Hinauszgern der Kaufentscheidung von Kunden, erreichen kann.
