Dazu synthetisiert sie eine Reihe von azobenzolsubstituierten Mono- und Diporphyrinen und untersucht sie eingehend spektroskopisch und elektrochemisch. Sie weist den Einfluss unterschiedlicher Azobenzolsubstituenten auf die Redoxeigenschaften und die spektroskopischen Eigenschaften der Porphyringruppen eindeutig nach und quantifiziert ihn mit Hilfe von Hammett-Parametern.
