Ausgehend von den grundlegenden Merkmalen des Marktes fr DM-Swaps definiert Wolfgang Kirschner Swapspreads und Methoden zu ihrer Berechnung. Grundlage der Spreadanalyse ist hierbei ein Arbitragemodell in einem Kapitalmarkt mit Friktionen. Der Autor zeigt, ob und warum signifikante Swapspreads existieren, wie sich Swapspreads verndern und auf welche Ursachen sie zurckzufhren sind. Bewertungsunterschiede zwischen DM-Zinsswaps und DM-Anleihen resultieren im wesentlichen aus Wertpapierleihgebhren, Kosten der Eigenkapitalunterlegung sowie der Volatilitt von Zinsstzen.
