Aus der Perspektive der Wissenssoziologie analysiert Anna Zofia Musio den Wandel von Erinnerungsregimen vor dem zeitgeschichtlichen Hintergrund des Zerfalls des realen Sozialismus in Deutschland und in Polen. Zwei ffentlich ausgetragene Debatten werden diskursanalytisch untersucht und miteinander verglichen: die Walser-Bubis-Debatte in Deutschland und die Debatte um das Pogrom in Jedwabne in Polen. Die Autorin zeigt, dass beide Flle symptomatische Tabubrche in der national aufgefassten Aufarbeitung der Vergangenheit sind.
