ArmorPoxy No Prep Primer is a cutting-edge, single-component sol-gel based fusion primer designed for effortless application directly onto surfaces. It functions both as a surface primer and an intercoat adhesion enhancer, creating a permanent molecular bond between the coating and the substrate. This unique chemical bonding ensures that anything applied over it adheres firmly. The No Prep Primer eliminates the need for surface preparation by etching or grinding, significantly saving time and money. It's perfect for situations where dust from grinding or shot blasting is a concern. Simply apply with an acetone-type sprayer, wait 10-15 minutes for the primer to become 'tacky', and then apply your chosen coating. This primer is compatible with nearly any coating, except water-based types. It can be used as a standalone primer on bare concrete or to ensure adhesion when recoating existing surfaces. ArmorPoxy No-Prep's strength is so remarkable that adhesion tests have shown the concrete surface will fail before the primer delaminates. Its simple, one-part formula requires no mixing.
