Rotate the rug periodically (once or twice a year) for even wear. Blot spills immediately with a clean white cloth. Allow the cloth to absorb the spill, do not rub the area. A spoon may be also used to pick up any excess, working towards the center of the spill. Most spots can be removed with a solution of one-quart lukewarm water, and one teaspoon of mild detergent, applied to the stained area, and then blotted. Use a household blow dryer to dry.
