Ziel der Arbeit ist es, optionstheoretische Anstze zur Bewertung brsennotierter Optionen zu diskutieren und zu entwickeln. Nach einer umfassenden Beschreibung und Erklrung der Optionen und ihrer finanzstrategischen Anwendungsmglichkeiten zu Spekulations- und Absicherungszwecken konzentriert sich die Arbeit auf die Bewertung von Aktienoptionen. Die relevanten Bestimmungsfaktoren werden analysiert und ihre funktionale Beziehung zum Optionspreis herausgestellt. Unter Heranziehung von Arbitrageargumenten und Dominanzberlegungen werden auch unter Bercksichtigung von Dividendenzahlungen Grenzwerte fr Kauf- und Verkaufsoptionen abgeleitet, die zwischen Kauf- und Verkaufsoptionen bestehenden Wertbeziehungen (Put-Call-Parittsbeziehungen) aufgezeigt und Bedingungen genannt, unter denen eine vorzeitige Optionsausbung optimal ist. Im Rahmen der prferenzfreien, verteilungsabhngigen Optionsbewertung werden das Grundmodell binomischer Optionsbewertung und das Black/Scholes Modell ausfhrlich dargestellt, durch Lockerung der Modellprmissen realittsadquater gestaltet und weitere Anstze entwickelt. Letztlich werden Options- und Futures-Kontrakte einander gegenbergestellt und das fr Aktienoptionen entwickelte Bewertungsinstrumentarium modifiziert und zur Bewertung von Optionen auf Financial Futures (Aktienindexoptionen, Anleihenoptionen, Devisenoptionen, Optionen auf Terminkontrakte) herangezogen. Weitere Anwendungsbereiche werden exemplarisch aufgezeigt.
