Das Lissabon-Urteil
Mit dem so genannten Lissabon-Urteil aus dem Jahr 2009 hat das Bundesverfassungsgericht eine Revision der Begleitgesetzgebung zum Vertrag von Lissabon, der vor allem die institutionelle Struktur der EU verbessern soll, erzwungen. Es hat sich dabei, ausgehend von einer umfassenden Interpretation des Demokratieprinzips, sehr grundstzlich zum Fortgang der europischen Integration sowie zur unantastbaren Verfassungsidentitt der Bundesrepublik Deutschland geuert. Der Sammelband analysiert das Urteil sowie die darin zum Ausdruck kommenden Staats- und Demokratieverstndnisse des BVerfG und prsentiert Einschtzungen des Verhltnisses der deutschen Verfassungsorgane im europischen Integrationsprozess sowie Diskussionsbeitrge zum Fortgang der Integration der EU. Damit ist der Sammelband sowohl fr Politik- und Sozialwissenschaftler als auch fr Rechtswissenschaftler von Interesse.
