Um einen Einblick in die Selbstsicht von Patienten am Lebensende zu erlangen, wurden die Patienten gebeten, mit Studierenden zu sprechen. Es zeigte sich, dass Palliativpatienten die Mglichkeit zu Gesprchen mit Studierenden schtzen. Die Ergebnisse dieser Gesprche wurden mit der Methode der Qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse nach Philip Mayring ermittelt. Entsprechende Daten lieferten dabei die Texte von semistrukturierten Tiefeninterviews, die durch die Qualitative Inhaltsanalyse induktiv kodiert worden sind. Die AutorInnen stellen die Methode vor, reflektieren sie und beobachten sie abschlieend bei der Durchfhrung.
