AccuGlide 3" Upper Taping Head, Red
The AccuGlide 3 upper taping head is designed to apply 48-72mm (2-3") tape widths at 100 ft/min case speed. The AccuGlide 3 taping head applies Scotch pressure sensitive film box sealing tape at the leading end of the box, continuing along the center seam to the trailing end. This is called a "C" clip application. The taping head cuts the tape as it is being applied. After the box is securely sealed, it exits the case sealer. The taping heads usually function in pair to tape two seams of a case. When they tapes the top and bottom, the taping heads are mounted in an upper and lower configuration. The taping head can also be mounted for sealing a case lying on its side. The head is usually mounted on the 3M-Matic case sealers but can also be used in converting other case sealers or in custom equipment. The head is designed to use with the 3M-Matic case sealers namely, 800rf, 800af, 800a, 800r, 700a, 700r, 200a and 800ab. The 3M-Matic machines are sold separately. The taping head is compatible with Global# 423077, 422863 and 422868.
