Designed with 100 ripstop polyester and a water-resistant PU coating, this cooler jacket stands up against the harshest conditions to provide warmth without restricting movement and dexterity. 3M THINSULATE INSULATION Designed with 200g of 3M Thinsulate insulation, this jacket traps heat for warmth in extreme cold, ranging from -10 F to -50 F (-23 C to -46 C). The 3M Thinsulate is 30 thinner in profile compared to standard poly fill and has a higher loft design, making it condense at a much slower rate and offers more thermal retention than standard poly fill-increasing its life integrity. Minimized washing will extend the overall life of the thermal, insulated garment. CLO RATINGS Insulation performance is measured by CLO ratings-which is a unit of thermal resistance that indicates insulating ability. The higher the CLO value, the higher the amount of warmth a piece of clothing provides. To determine temperature ratings, CLO factors, Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) and the time or duration of a task are considered. MET levels can be categorized as light activities (forklift driver, equipment operator), moderate activities (picking & packaging, delivery drivers) and vigorous activities (concrete work, tower climber).
