High-security shredder is designed to shred up to 2,500 CDs or DVDs an hour at 24' per minute into 2.2mm x 4mm pieces. This high-security shredding meets D.O.D. and NSA/CSS 02-01 mandatory security requirements and ensures that sensitive documents are destroyed at the highest security level. Jam-Stop Auto Reverse Technology prevents jams when trying to shred too much paper. Easy paper removal with no downtime increases productivity. Continuous-duty motor delivers continual shredding with no downtime. Two solid steel cutting cylinders in the chain-driven system are subject to practically no wear and no sharpening. The laser cut manufacturing process and special heat treating process significantly increase the life of the cutters and provide a more precise cut. Patented V-TEK cutting groove technology creates higher cutting capacity with lower power requirements. Shredder also offers a 16" throat width and 38.5 Gallon shred-waste container.
