Verantwortung ist ein relationaler Begriff. Aufbauend auf diesem Gedanken leitet Janina Sombetzki die Relationselemente aus einer etymologischen Minimaldefinition ber Verantwortung als Rede-und-Antwort-Stehen ab. Nur wenn alle Elemente bestimmt sind so die Hauptthese des Buches sollte von Verantwortung gesprochen werden. Darber hinaus ist Verantwortung auch eine Fhigkeit, innerhalb derer die Rollen (Trger, Instanz, Adressat) und ihre Kompetenzen praktisch gelernt werden, von der kindlichen Verantwortungsbernahme, ber die Selbstverantwortung der autonomen Person, bis hin zur Kollektivverantwortung. Drittens ist von Verantwortung v. a. in Kontexten die Rede, die fr den Betrachter intransparent und durch unbersichtliche Hierarchieverhltnisse gekennzeichnet sind.
