Linda Brochhausen geht der Frage nach, wie der Zellkern der Zelle auch nach der Zellteilung Polaritt aufprgen kann und welche Rolle dabei das den Kern umgebende Aktinnetzwerk spielt. Anhand einer transgenen Tabakzelllinie, in der eine perinuklere Aktinpopulation fluoreszent markiert wurde, analysiert die Autorin die Kernmigration durch Hemmstoffexperimente, um der Funktion des nuclear baskets auf den Grund zu gehen. Sie erstellt ein Modell, in dem der vom Stadium der Zelle innerhalb des Zellzyklus abhngige Mechanismus sowie der Gradient der Aktindynamik fr eine intakte Kernbewegung notwendig sind.
