Carlos Peir Frasquet zeigt erstmalig das Potenzial der numerischen Strmungssimulation als alternatives Werkzeug zur Zertifizierung auf. Im Fokus des Autors liegt die Erweiterung der Simulation anhand innovativer Modellierungsverfahren zur Abbildung der instationren Anstrmung und zur Bercksichtigung des Ventilationswiderstands. Zur Entwicklung und Validierung dieser Verfahren werden Fahrversuche herangezogen und Untersuchungen im Modellwindkanal durchgefhrt.
