Im Zentrum ihrer Arbeit steht die Annahme, dass die Entwicklung der organisationalen Legitimitt einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur berlebensfhigkeit der genannten Polizeiorganisation im Rahmen der mehr als 60jhrigen Organisationsgeschichte leistete. Die Ergebnisse der empirischen Untersuchung liefern Hinweise auf drei magebliche Entwicklungslinien, die dies widerspiegeln.
