PEGIDA erweist sich als eine Protestbewegung neuen Stils, eine rechtspopulistische Emprungsbewegung, die fremdenfeindliche und islamkritische Ressentiments mobilisiert und dabei grundstzliche Vorbehalte gegenber den politischen und medialen Eliten zum Ausdruck bringt.
