Stiebel Eltron DHC-E 12 12 kW Point of Use Tankless Electric Water Heater, 240/208V Stiebel Eltron developed tankless electric water heating technology almost 90 years ago and continues as the industry pioneer and world leader. Our engineering and manufacturing tradition of excellence means you can depend on the performance and reliability of our products. Instead of storing hot water, DHC-E models are tankless, heating water instantaneously and endlessly as it flows through the unit. They are 99% efficient with no stand-by energy losses, unlike tank water heaters. The DHC-E is considerably smaller than a tank, saving space and allowing flexibility to determine the best location for installation. No venting is necessary, and the sleek European design even allows installation with the unit visible. The DHC-E 12 is ideal for residential or commercial point-of-use sink applications including: bathrooms, offices, stores, malls, warehouses, restaurants, and gas stations; and also single-shower whole house use. It is perfect for seasonal cabins or cottages as it can be easily removed for over-wintering. The DHC-E 12 is electronically controlled and can be set to deliver water at the temperature you need. The number of sinks a DHC-E can supply depends on the incoming cold water temperature, the water flow through the unit, and the supply voltage.
