The HeartSine Samaritan PAD 450P AED is one of the smallest and lightest AEDs on the market, now offering even more advanced technology to raise the standard against competitors. Available with an integrated CPR Rate Advisor technology, audible and visual feedback is provided in real time to the rescuer, including "Push Faster," "Good Speed," and "Push Slower." Never question whether you are doing enough when you have a HeartSine 450P AED to guide you through the process. Ready to use for pediatric assistance with optional pediatric cartridges. Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) occurs when the heart stops beating and breathing stops. If this happens, begin by calling 9-1-1 and prepare to perform CPR. It is important to get an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to the victim's side within 3-5 minutes to keep the victim's blood and oxygen levels moving. Once emergency medical professionals arrive, the AED will be used to determine if the victim needs a shock to reset their heart rhythm.
