These bottles are useful for storing chemicals and standards and for collecting and storing distilled water. These bottles display excellent chemical resistance to most acids, bases and alcohols. Features: Opaque Amber reduces UV light transmissions to protect light-sensitive liquidsMeet the U.S. Pharmacopoeia 23 requirements for light transmissionExcellent chemical resistance to most acids, bases and alcohols make these versatile bottles where exposure to light needs to be restricted4 and 8L sizes feature a built-in shoulder loop on larger sizes for attaching identification tagLinerless caps provide the ultimate in leak proof protection without the use of liner that can wrinkle, cause leaks, or contaminate your reagentsAutoclavable/Leak proof Note: Completely disengage threads or remove cap before autoclaving. Nalgene LDPE, HDPE, PP and PMP containers can be used for long-term storage, but direct UV exposure should be avoided. Note: WILL NOT SHIP TO RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES.
