Anja Heine untersucht, wie sich Ingenieure und Naturwissenschaftler elektromobilittsnaher Bereiche der Forschung und Entwicklung eines Unternehmens der Automobilbranche bei fachlichen Lernthemen und spezifisch bei der Elektromobilitt weiterbilden. Da die Entwicklung hin zur Elektromobilitt vernderte Anforderungen an das Fachwissen stellt, mssen sie dieses im Bereich Verbrennungsmotoren um elektrotechnische/chemische Kompetenzen erweitern. Die Autorin stellt fest, dass die betriebliche Weiterbildung hier Mglichkeiten bietet, frhzeitig auf Bedrfnisse fr neue Fachthemen zu reagieren. Es existieren bisher kaum Untersuchungen, die den Fokus auf die individuelle Perspektive der Akteure, insbesondere beim Lern- bzw. Aneignungsprozess neuer Technologien, legen. Diese Forschungslcke wird hier geschlossen.
