Der bis auf Platon zurckreichende Versuch, Herrschaft (als) rational zu begrnden, wird anhand seiner klassischen Varianten von der Antike bis zur Gegenwart auf seinen Vernunftanspruch hin kritisch analysiert. Mittels immanenter (Ideologie-)Kritik werden die Widersprche in der begrifflichen Argumentation aufgedeckt und als Erscheinungen einer widersprchlich verfassten gesellschaftlichen Ordnung dechiffriert, deren Herrschaftscharakter dem Vernunftvermgen des Menschen widerspricht.
