Parodistisch inszenierte Texte korrespondieren mit generellen Vernderungstendenzen innerhalb des Literatursystems einer sozialhistorischen Kommunikationsgemeinschaft und knnen als affirmativer Nebengesang oder als kritischer Gegengesang zu dem literarischen Hauptgesang in Erscheinung treten. Klassifiziert man die groe Zahl der der im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert entstandenen deutschsprachigen Parodien nach dem jeweils zugrundegelegten Originalwerk, so fllt auf, da es in erster Linie die sogenannten klassischen Autoren - also Goethe und Schiller - sind, die die Aufmerksamkeit der Parodisten auf sich ziehen. Jedoch stellen sptestens seit 1871 nicht mehr Schiller, sondern Goethe und sein literarisches Oeuvre eine permanente Herausforderung fr die Parodien-Schreiber dar. Bei der Suche nach Erklrungen fr die zahlreichen parodistischen Reflexe auf Goethe-Werke mu die Wechselbeziehung zwischen textsortenspezifischen Charakteristika der parodistischen Schreibweise und sozial-historischen Kontextbedingungen der literarischen Kommunikationsgemeinschaft beleuchtet werden.
