Leeson 3-Phase, Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled Motor - 1/3 HP - Rigid or Resillient Base This 1/3 horsepower, 1725 RPM motor is solidly manufactured for long lasting durability and dependability. Totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) enclosure has no vent openings, and is tightly enclosed to prevent the free exchange of air, but is not airtight. An external fan is an integral part of the motor and provides cooling by blowing air around the outside frame of the motor.
