Adorno aus dem Jahre 1960 und ein Nachwort von Schweppenhusers langjhrigen Kollegen Gnther Mensching. Eine spezifische Verbindung von scharfer Kritik am blichen und Konventionellen mit eindringlicher Besinnung auf die Verbindlichkeit vergangener geistiger Zeugnisse kennzeichnet, ber die Grnder der Frankfurter Schule weit hinaus, die Denkweise Hermann Schweppenhusers. Die Komplexitt seines Stils macht die Anstrengung sprbar, Kontinuitt und radikale Diskontinuitt der europischen Kultur, zumal der deutschen, zusammenzudenken.
