Elena Tsarouha legt in der vorliegenden Studie eine Vielzahl an Einflussgren in (mndlichen) Prfungen offen. Die Autorin stellt eine Typologie der Einflsse auf die Notengebung vor. Es wird gezeigt, welche davon nicht-leistungskonform sind und damit Noten nachweislich hinsichtlich ihrer Aussagekraft und Vergleichbarkeit beschrnken. Noten als Leistungsindikator und wichtigstes Ausschlusskriterium fr z. B. Stipendien, weiterfhrende Studiengnge etc. sind damit fragwrdig und kritisch zu reflektieren.
