Sie untersucht den Einfluss biografischer Prgung und die verschiedenen Ressourcenlagen fr individuelles Gesundheitserleben und -handeln im Alter. Sie belegt empirisch, dass biografische Muster zu Gesundheit mit frherer Erziehung, Sozialisation und mit Erfahrungen ber die Lebensspanne in Verbindung stehen und zeigt, dass ermglichende und verhindernde Umwelten im Alter dazu beitragen, ob und wie biografisches Gesundheitserleben und -handeln fortgefhrt werden kann. Aus ihren Ergebnissen leitet sie schlielich ein Modell zu Gesundheitskompetenz im Alter ab.
