Versucht man nun diesen Bildbegriff vergleichend mit semiotischen oder phnomenologischen Bildtheorien zu diskutieren, so erlangt ihre Philosophie des Bildes nur dann die erforderliche Stringenz, wenn man die gegenwrtigen Bildtheorien einer grundlegenden Kritik unterzieht. Mit Langer erscheint u.a. Husserls Bildkonstitutionstheorie in einem neuen, aber ursprnglicheren Licht, wodurch sich eine komplementre Bildtheorie abzeichnet, in der semiotische und phnomenologische Aspekte konstitutiv sind.
