The highly visible polyurethane fluorescent green Hi Viz Commercial Aircraft Chock for Narrow and Wide Body Aircraft with Quick Loop Rope and Extended Cable Handle and Urethane Grip, model CAC24-QLR-ECH, improves safety for commercial aircraft. It measures 19-1/2"L x 7-1/2"W x 6"H. This extremely reflective chock combines high visibility and an ergonomic design, suitable for both narrow and wide-body aircraft. The fluorescent green coloring was created especially for situations requiring high visibility, using SafeRay Technology that provides the best day and night visibility. It features a UV reflective pigment that is added to the urethane blend during production to ensure visibility to help reduce nighttime accidents and improve operational efficiency. Both durable and ergonomic, new hi-viz aircraft chocks are about 50 lighter than rubber alternatives, easing the burden on operators. Model CAC24-QLR-ECH features extended cable handles that minimize the risk of strain and injury for ground personnel, as well as a rope loop lanyard that allows users to easily drag the chock into position for placement. The chock meets SAE AIR4950 design standards, satisfies IATA AHM requirements and speeds safe execution of IGOM C44 procedures. Its robust construction is resistant to harsh weather, abrasion, oils, lubricants, and aircraft fluids, offering approximately six times the lifespan of standard rubber chocks, thus lowering replacement frequency and delivering better overall value. Designed with the safety manager and ramp supervisor in mind, the chock is a wise choice for financial and operational leaders looking for a reliable investment in safety and efficiency.
