The Bicycle Surface Condition Warning (W8-10) sign may be installed where roadway or shared-use path conditions could cause a bicyclist to lose control of the bicycle. Use signs as specified by the MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices), which contains the national standards.
