Wir mssen davon ausgehen, dass politisches Handeln immer Auswirkungen auf das Leben der Gesellschaftsmitglieder und damit auch auf die Soziale Arbeit in der Gesellschaft hat. Inwiefern die Soziale Arbeit hierbei wiederum eine politische und soziale Bedeutung hat und sie zur Lebensbewltigung von Individuen und Gruppen beitragen kann, soll Auftrag dieses Bandes sein. Die einzelnen Beitrge tragen dabei dazu bei, Krisen in der Gesellschaft und in der Sozialen Arbeit zu verstehen, und geben Impulse oder auch Hoffnungen, die Soziale Arbeit in der Gesellschaft krisenfester zu machen.
