Hallowell Hi-Tech Metal Shelving is specially designed for fast and easy assembly and installation. Available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy and extra heavy duty shelves to meet your specific shelving capacity requirements Adjustable Shelves -Extra Heavy Duty: Formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edge and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 2 shelves are fabricated from extra heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel and have roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends resistance welded to the under side of shelf. Welds are spaced 3" on center to provide maximum strength. Sides are triple flanged to form a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded to provide a rigid corner and add extra strength to the shelf. Top surface shall be punched for attaching Shelf Dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers front and back, for 36" wide x 12", 15", and 24" deep shelves. All other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Front and rear surfaces are punched for attaching accessories. Tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads. Used for uniformly distributed loads up to 1,200 pounds.
