Das mehrgliedrige Regest informiert ber den Inhalt des Briefes und stellt ihn in den Zusammenhang von Goethes persnlichen Korrespondenzbeziehungen. Die Briefregesten werden durch Orts-, Personen- und Werkregister ergnzt. Band 10 dokumentiert Goethes persnliche Korrespondenz in den Jahren 1823 und 1824. Er umfasst die Regesten von fast 1.100 Briefen von 448 Absendern.
