This shredder plate has holes of 1/4" and is recommended for use grating and shredding hard vegetables, bread crumbs, soft cheeses and carrots, among others. This nsf-approved plate is made of the highest-quality stainless steel and fits on the disk holder (vs-12dh) of alfa's grater-shredder power attachment (gs-12). It also fits hobart's vs9.
