This shredder plate has holes of 5/16" and is recommended for use grating and shredding cole slaw, hash browns, bread crumbs, hard vegetables and soft cheeses, among others. This nsf-approved plate is made of the highest-quality stainless steel and fits on the disk holder (vs-12dh) of alfa's grater-shredder power attachment (gs-12). It also fits hobart's vs9.
