Capacity Our proprietary "Controlled Auto Defrost" technology provides the convenience of an auto-defrost design while still ensuring that vaccines remain at consistent and stable temperatures below 5F (-15C) Controlled Auto Defrost provides convenient frost removal in the freezer while maintaining "spike-free" temperature ranges. There is no need to relocate samples as would be required during a manual defrost process and there is no worry of product-damaging temperature excursions as would be experienced with an old technology/traditional auto defrost freezer. These models include remote alarm contacts, a probe access port, and Temperature Monitoring Device (TMD) with 3 year certificate of calibration.Models are UL/C-UL Listed, include a 2-year comprehensive warranty, and utilize environmentally friendly, natural, Hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants (not containing hydrofluorocarbon) which vastly reduce global warming potential while meeting new EPA/SNAP mandates and UL, ASHRAE compliance guidelines.
