The Soleus Air 8,000 BTU Micro-Split with Wi-Fi is a new category of Air Conditioner, that takes the benefits of a Mini-Spit and has been reengineered to offer additional features like fitting into a standard window, requiring no tools for installation, straddles the wall like a saddle, making impossible to fall out like a window AC making it very safe and now with most of the mechanics on the other side of the wall, it is very quiet. When installed, it required very little sill space, so you can enjoy your view, plus open your window to enjoy a cool breeze or to talk to your neighbors. Features include: voice cativated Wi-Fi, so use Alexa, or Google to control the fucntions of the AC. Also includes features like: Energy saver mode, sleep mode, auto restart and loss of power. Unit is sized to accommodate a 10.5 inch opening- plenty of room for most wall and sills in the US, plus gives you adjustable feet to size to skinnier walls.
