This system is able to discharge the waste up to 36 feet vertical using a 2" diameter pipe or up to 20 feet when discharging through a 4" pipe. It incorporates a Vortex system which is ideal for uncontrolled environments in both residential and commercial applications (i.e.. rental unit, offices, warehouses, etc.). The Sanicubic 1 VX is designed to handle sanitary products that may have been flushed down the toilet; such may consist of condoms, sanitary napkins, q-tips, dental floss, etc. as well as large diameter solids. This system consists of a 1.5-HP motor housed inside a compact but highly durable plastic enclosure. Incorporates a vortex impeller capable of handling up to 2" solids. The Sanicubic 1 VX operation is as simple as the installation. The effluent enters the pump through one of three different inlets one on either side of the unit at the bottom and one on top. The inlets can accommodate 1-1/2" or 4" diameter pipes. As soon as the wastewater level reaches the trigger point, the pumping system activates. The effluent is then pumped out through either a 2" or 4" diameter rigid pipe connected on the top of the pump. Maximum pumping distances are 36 ft (2") or 20 ft (4") vertically and/or 328 Ft horizontally (2") or 1640 Ft horizontally (4"). The inside of the Sanicubic 1 VX comprises of a couple of pressure switches and a circuit board assembly, which starts and stops the unit, a powerful motor, which drive the Vortex impeller and the pump. The motor is sealed for life in an oil filled enclosure. A common spindle/shaft drives the impeller. The moving parts therefore are kept to an absolute minimum. The pump is able to handle up to 125 GPM (2") or 137 GPM (4"). If the incoming rate is higher than the discharge rate, the pump automatically signals the "alarm" stage. This will activate the visual alarm on the pump's external control panel and the audible alarm from the wired control box (if connected). Note that the effluent pipe leading into the pump has to be installed with the required 1/4" per foot gravity flow. There must be a 11" height difference (from pump to connecting fixture) if the drain is connected to the bottom inlet. The wastewater from other sanitary fixtures is discharged into the Sanicubic 1 VX via three 1-1/2-inch or 4" inlets, on either side of the housing and on the top of the enclosure. The internal discharge pipe comes equipped with a check valve that prevents back flow into the unit. Isolating valves (ball, gate valves) must be installed on waste inlets and on the discharge pipe to ensure that any service/maintenance may be carried out safely. This unit has been designed with a 2-1/2" vent connection on the top of the enclosure. All plumbing codes require connection to a vent system. Please note that the vent system should be a two-way air vent. The use of mechanical vents, air admittance valves or similar devices are not permitted as these are considered one-way air vent systems. The Sanicubic 1 VX is IP68 rated for possible submergence which eliminates any potential water damage to internal components. It comes equipped with an external control panel as well as a visual and audible alarm system (15' long wire). The Sanicubic 1 VX has been certified to American and Canadian Standards. Macerating standard; US: CSA Certified - ASME A112.3.4, CA: Macerating Standard CSA B45.9. The Sanicubic 1 VX is ordered as a single unit only. No other fixtures are included.
