The pepper mill has 6 settings whilst the salt mill has three, ranging from fine to coarse. The gourmet precision plus pepper mechanism is made from hardened carbon steel that strips instead of crushing peppercorns allowing them to release their natural oils which gives you more flavor with every turn whilst the salt mechanism is made from diamond sharp ceramic. Refilling is easy by simply lifting up on the top.
