OVERVIEW: The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 ZP is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.This is a run flat model. It uses its Zero Pressure technology in order to enable its 50-mile, 50-mph performance. This allows the tire's limited, temporary performance after air pressure loss. Since the structure does not deform immediately, the tire is able to safely arrive at a nearby location where the damaged tire can be taken care of.The reinforced internal structure and heat-resistant compound also work together to boost its high speed controllability. These elements maintain its surface contact, upgrading steering responsiveness and driving stability. Additionally, the tread's road contact creates friction when braking, significantly shortening its braking distance. Pressure accumulation prevention and stronger construction maintain the ideal tire shape at all times. This combination guarantees its exceptional high speed durability.Summer weather traction is also promoted with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 ZP. It uses the summer compound and asymmetric tread design to achieve this. They offer dry and wet weather grip, allowing the tire to effectively upgrade its summer weather driving safety. Hydroplaning is prevented with the circumferential groove placement, as they disperse water from below the footprint.Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
