Maxxis offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.The tire promotes great all weather traction. The optimized tread design and the all season compound boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread elements closely follow the road surface throughout the year, while the compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures. The six wide circumferential grooves effectively resist hydroplaning by actively dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. This results in a secure driving experience in all conditions.The tread design maintains its road contact at all times. The special ribbed tread pattern manages to keep the tire closely following the road surface. This increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering responsiveness becomes faster and more precise and the tire's structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The larger shoulder tread blocks enhance the cornering ability and power. They increase the number of biting edges that firmly grip the road surface to ensure a safer controllability in all weather.The MA-202 offers excellent durability. The internal structure features a full casing reinforcement and a jointless spiral-wrapped cap ply that maintain the tire's optimal shape. They prevent the deformation of the tire's shape under the driving pressure affecting it, which ensures a better performance. The ribbed tread design's optimized footprint avoids irregular wear formations with the evenly distributed driving pressure affecting the tire. This resists irregular wear formations across the tread area to ensure an extended tread life and usability. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years.
