The detailed tread pattern with the notch and sipe placement enhances the grip on the road surface throughout the year. The stronger compound keeps the rubber flexibility, optimizing the summer and winter weather traction. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint in wet conditions. This combination significantly boosts the tire's overall year round performing ability.The flat footprint and the stabilized tread elements ensure the surface contact, which helps to boost the controllability. The maintained surface contact greatly improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. This results in the driver's better control over the vehicle, as the drive axle closely follows the lead of the steer axle.
