RED - CFA614R EBC Brakes "R" suffix mountain bike replacement brake pads are an organic compound suitable for use on all rotor types. Some brake systems use nylon or plastic fluid lines which are prone to softening and swelling when overheated. Sintered pads are not suitable for use with these systems as they generate too much heat, therefore we recommend using the "R" suffix brake pads. GOLD - CFA614HH Not for use with a mountain bike where the rotors are for use only with resin pads. These pads will score the unhardened brake rotors. All EBC Brakes replacement mountain bike brake pads are made using magnetic stainless steel backing plates.
