Its dual-compound design merges a Black compound for dry conditions with a Salmon compound for wet, ensuring reliable stopping power regardless of the weather. Place the new Kool-Stop pads into the brake caliper arms and finger-tighten the nuts. Squeeze the brake lever for proper alignment, then tighten the nuts (do not over-tighten). Break in the pads with several braking applications to condition the rim surface. Ensure "toe-in" alignment to prevent brake chatter. Re-check pad and rim alignment after breaking in and after every ride. Note: Do not ride until brakes are fully checked and functioning. Suitable for bicycle use only.
