Designed for Performance and Versatility Collaboratively developed with Australian downhill racer Troy Brosnan, the Maxxis Dissector aims to minimize drag while maintaining excellent cornering control. This versatile tire adapts seamlessly to different trail conditions, making it suitable for use as a front, rear, or paired tire on trail bikes. Key Features: Ideal Usage : Perfect for dry, fast trails and bike parks, providing exceptional performance at high speeds. Tread Design : Centerline tread is ramped to reduce drag while keeping sharp, flat edges for reliable braking traction. Enhanced Cornering : Small sipes in the knobs add flexion, increasing surface area during braking and aiding the transition to edge blocks when cornering. Debris Clearance : Ample spacing between lugs effectively clears debris, ensuring consistent traction. Tubeless Ready (TR) : Designed for easy tubeless setup, allowing lower tire pressure for improved grip and comfort. Wide Trail (WT) Casing : Optimized for inner rim widths of 30-35mm, enhancing stability and traction. 3C MaxxTerra Compound : Intermediate triple compound that provides greater traction than MaxxSpeed, improved tread wear, and lower rolling resistance compared to MaxxGrip. EXO+ Technology : Features an additional SilkShield layer to enhance puncture protection, sidewall durability, and resistance to pinch flats.
