The 30mm deep rim optimizes aero performance and improves stability in crosswinds. The alloy rim benefits from our unrivaled experience in creating light yet strong rim extrusions. Mavic does this by carefully tuning the thickness of the rim wall to hit the sweet spot between stiffness, strength, and weight. The bladed straight pull spokes are laced to the high-end Infinity hub platforms: optimal spoke tension balance is a guarantee for perfect stiffness and great durability, with only 1 spoke length for both wheels to worry about. The Instant Drive 360 ratchet freewheel system is quick to engage and offers low friction. This hub easily converts from Shimano/SRAM to Campagnolo or XD cassette and is compatible with Center Lock disc rotors.
